Dr Marian Sullivan
Dr Marian Sullivan is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who has 30 years clinical experience dealing with the consequences of childhood trauma and abuse.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and holds further college certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
She has been an executive member of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
Throughout her career she has taught medical students and registrars and served on a number of bi-national training accreditation committees.
She was previously the editor of the Bulletin for the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
From 2006 to 2010 Dr Sullivan was a member of the Medical Board of Queensland, where she chaired the Board's Health Assessment and Monitoring Committee, which supervised impaired practitioners.
Dr Sullivan has been appointed as a medical member to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
She is in private practice and has had appointments with the Royal Children’s Hospital Brisbane. Dr Sullivan also provides consultation through teleconferencing into rural Queensland.
